Debian bookworm apt repository?

Hi,

in the past I’ve used/mirrored https://cvmrepo.web.cern.ch/cvmrepo/apt/dists/ in order to install our clients but bookworm has yet to appear there.

Do you plan on adding it or shall I rather maintain our internal repo with the three relevant files downloadable from Index of /dist/cvmfs/cvmfs-2.11.0 (or whatever is stable)?

Thanks a bunch in advance

Carsten

Hi Carsten,

yes, there was a small issue when adding bookworm, but the apt repository should be updated before the official release of 2.11 (next Monday). I’ll let you know here once it is fixed.
Cheers,
Valentin

Ah, ok, so just bad timing on my behalf. Thanks for the heads up!

Hi Carsten,

the debian repositories for bookworm should now be fixed.

Hi Valentin,

thanks for working on this, but I‌ fear to report that Index of /cvmrepo/apt/dists/bookworm-prod - although it now exists - is empty

Cheers

Carsten

Hi Carsten,

no, that’s expected, as we are using our s3 storage for all new packages, see https://github.com/cvmfs/cvmfs/blob/devel/packaging/debian/cernvm.list.bookworm

The new url would be http://cvmrepo.s3.cern.ch/cvmrepo/apt/dists/bookworm-prod/Release ( I just see that there are no directory listings on s3 yet, if needed, we can add those)

Cheers,
Valentin

Ah, another thing I overlooked. Thanks for the pointer!
